From vocational training straight into the future with Wirthwein Medical
With the successful completion of his training and direct entry into permanent employment, Wirthwein Medical has been sending a clear signal for years that it is committed to the sustainable promotion of young talent. Former trainee Philipp recently successfully completed his training as an industrial clerk and was subsequently taken on in a permanent position in the Customer Service and Order Management department.
During his training, Philipp gained extensive practical experience and took on responsibility in his day-to-day work at an early stage. “The training at Wirthwein Medical was very interesting, particularly as it involved working in the medical technology industry, and I felt part of the team right from the start. During my training, I was able to learn about all the processes involved in a manufacturing company,” says the newly hired employee. He particularly appreciated the opportunity to work independently on projects and take on tasks such as planning a training trip on his own.
The company also sees the takeover as an important step. “Training our own skilled workers is a central part of the Wirthwein corporate philosophy,” explains Sabine Lenz, HR team leader at Wirthwein Medical. “We are delighted to be able to continue supporting committed trainees in the company upon completion of their vocational training.” The takeover underlines Wirthwein Medical's commitment to offering young people long-term prospects and actively counteracting the shortage of skilled workers.
The company will continue to focus on qualified training and individual support in the future. In addition to training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), Wirthwein Medical is offering further apprenticeships this year, among others as a plastics and rubber technologist (m/f/d), tool mechanic (m/f/d) and electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d).
