Environmentally friendly behavior is an important factor for Riegler. Process and work instructions as well as forms are created and updated regularly as work basis for our energy-conscious working. Riegler has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001 in the course of the Group matrix since 2015.
Riegler invests in efficient solutions
Riegler extended its fleet of vehicles by a new electric car to support sustainable mobility. The small runabout is used by employees for internal factory trips between the three medical technology factories and for customer visits in the immediate surroundings. As well as driving pleasure, the purchase of the electric car brings these benefits: It is eco-friendly, efficient and cost-effective.
As well as the electric car, Riegler invested in an adsorption refrigerator at the Ober-Ramstadt site. In contrast to conventional refrigerators, this functions without refrigerant. This produces an energy saving of approx. 30%. As result, we are obtaining waste heat at no cost that is available to us as drive energy.
